Glad Mulally may return. He should have never been passed up for McNerney. BA may be so broken that Mulally can't fix it. Should get rid of Max and build more pre-max 737s. Should get rid of 787 and start clean sheet airplane that is designed/built in America. Ex-G.E. leaders ruined this company by sending design and manufacture of 787 around the globe. Lost their intellectual property. On-site BA engineers were only "integrators".

Don't blame Elizabeth. Company doesn't give quality department any clout. Similar to ethics department. The suits ruined this company. Mismanaged for 30 years.
My sweet Elizabeth you will be missed. Not!
If you have followed the downfall of the Boeing company, which is now a hollow shell of its former self. Alan Mulally should recommend that the entire Boeing leadership should be fired and receive no golden parachutes. From Boeing VP's downward including Boeing Board of Director, they all should be fired. During their tenure these knuckleheads destroyed The Boeing Company.
A lot of work ahead to do, we will all have to work as one team, one company. A new solution focused mindset and strong strategy changes are needed. Gotta beat the competition, who is the competition? Everyone and anyone that isn’t Boeing, that simple. Safety and Quality have to come first in all aspects of the final products and the speed will come naturally from doing this. Innovation will drive more velocity while still satisfying the requirements.
You want things to get better? We have to work for it and strive for that greater future. I’m not saying it’s going to be easy, I’m saying it’s going to be worth it.
LOL! As if any leadership could turn around what the previous leadership did. I guess if you are clueless about what it takes to create an aerospace company that can successfully compete in the world today, you might believe this BS too. Pathetic.
Thats good news about Alan Mulally. Ortberg needs to go one step further and announce he is firing Elizabeth Lund.
