Has anyone received the FedEx label to return their company laptop?

After I made a few critical comments on Viasat posts, they apparently made LinkedIn suspend my (secondary) account. I only used public information such as leadership compensation and articles about the failed satellites. So much for free speech!

Just wondering how long generally employee wait until they get severance pay? Is it same for all or it's based on individual case? Are they consider about tax benefits for paying on certain date?

I was told that managers didn't not know who will be laid off and were surprised but I am not sure if that is only the typical B$ they tell you. My sl--eball manager didn't even bother to call me or send an email/message after I got let go.

Admittedly, my sample size is small, but I've only heard of white males being laid off. It would be very interesting to hear the numbers before/after the layoff. Perhaps the company used the layoff as a way to improve DEI metrics?

Absolutely 100 percent chance that Viasat lays off more employees to make shareholders happy. Daddy D said it himself, layoffs = bad management. Sounds like a promise to me in light of the current regime.

According to their paperwork, placement services are supposed to be available from day one.
