Admittedly, my sample size is small, but I've only heard of white males being laid off. It would be very interesting to hear the numbers before/after the layoff. Perhaps the company used the layoff as a way to improve DEI metrics?

Asian guy here laid off. I am a recent grad though. I knew a couple of people who were laid off who happen to be white males but everyone I've worked with so far were white guys except for 1.
Oh FFS. Go start campaigning for the 2024 election if you think white males were the only layoffs.
Maybe you only heard of those folks because you only associate yourself with white males? Ever think outside of that box?
Quite a few veterans, but hopefully that's because a lot of vets wok(ed) there.
My old team was decimated in this layoff. All were males, mix of white and non-white. No ethnicity was safe.
The DEI team is very lean. it may appear more white men were laid off because 3 in 4 employees are men.
I'll bet the DEI people didn't get layed off.
I am a white male that was with the company for a long time and was laid off during the most recent round. I know several people that were laid off during this round and most where white male and some white female. There were 800 people laid off this time. I am not happy that I got laid off, but to state that this was racially motivated is most likely a stretch.
I'm a female vet with nothing but outstanding performance appraisals and I was let go.
I know of at least one asian woman who got laid off.
Our group is very small and they didn't lay off the oldest guy, who honestly didn't produce much and they didn't lay off the youngest ones. Seems like they picked the middle.
I know of 3 women that were laid off and all 3 were of different ethnicities.
No, non-white men and women were laid off.
I usually call these bigots but be petty this time, go after them, make their lives difficult.
