We're about due for another bad decision, satellite disaster, or some additional debt. I'm in danger of making money on the stock.
Getting they're nasty spread sheet lists ready.
With the stock price approaching a new low, will they take some sort of action just before end of fiscal year just like they did one year ago?
No the viasat way is to give it to you when it's high with the restriction that you can't sell it until it's low.
It went up 9.4% today.
Tomorrow??
Remember the Viasat way: Buy high, sell low.
I picked up 500 shrs.
The stock is so low I'm tempted to buy a bunch of it.
We might get a new 52 week low soon.
I immediately sold my VSAT shares when I received the contribution to my 401k. This was prior to all the recent failures; I just never believed it was a worthwhile equity. The stock has appreciated 278% since it's IPO approximately 40 years ago. An absolutely pathetic return.
Get out of that stuff, losing altitude, won’t survive re-entry.
WTF are the leaders of this place doing? When is the next VS3 launch?
Is there any response to LEO or just more of the same? Given that the Inmarsat acquisition equates to doubling down (at great cost / debt) on GEO - which now looks wildly risky given deployment problems with VS2 and VS3 F1.
Does this business have a future? What happens if VS3 F2 bricks too?
At this point, given VS track record, a successful deployment is an anomaly.
Good luck everybody.
The match is automatically VSAT stock… other than that, no chance
