Yup it was so obvious from day one...he uses the canned language, lots of bs words that are meaningless. He'll do what he needs to do to raise the stock price and then he'll be pushed out or asked to go after all the damage. He's been lots of places, but not anywhere for long to make them successful. Everyone screwed up big time bringing him on.

I cannot stand Guru. I think he has ruined Viasat. Word on the street is the higher ups regret bringing him on. My favorite part of his recent diarrhea of the mouth email was "please refrain from posting on social media". Meaning, please don't share the truth about how sh---y things have become since I was hired.
They made the same mistake when they hired that phony Paz Patel as the Head of Talent. Paz is a guy who was fired from Amazon after 500 employees signed a petition to get rid of him for exclusive behavior and harassment.
I worked in P&C and I can tell you I've never worked for a more corrupt group of people with no actual expertise in my life.

The acquisition of immersat was done to compete with SpaceX. And then the satellite failure. Put all our eggs in one basket for the company’s future. Bad business. Elon is still winning! And this layoff was a salary dump. Went after the jewels. Legacy vsat people with long tenure. Seems more like immersat acquired Viasat. Viasat has become just like any other bigger company.
