Sampath out with the Golden Parachute as Dan S guts prior regime

So.. Verizon's head of its consumer division, Sowmyanarayan Sampath, is stepping down?? Or was he asked to leave??
When ole Danny Schulman stepped into his role in October he helped approved a $4 million payment for Sampath to retain him in his consumer CEO role. While he ordered Verizon's biggest-ever round of job cuts in November of 13000+

So… who’s the next head to roll? Which former PayPal person is coming along the Danny ride??

Prayers have been Answered! Ferris is getting the boot!

Well, it’s finally happening. Word from the top floor is that SF is officially getting the boot.
An exec (who shall remain nameless) confirmed that the Board of Directors spent most of last week in a "closed-door" session. The vibe was tense, and the topic was simple: the stock price is in the basement and someone has to take the fall.
It’s not exactly a surprise. The whole "AI on top of legacy tech" pivot has been a total disaster. We all saw the Zafin integration turn into a massive headache, and it looks like the Board finally lost patience with the "trust the process" narrative.
Expect an "official" PR-friendly announcement soon, but we all know the real reason why.

Kristi Moody OUT

Kristi Moody, the legal brain who said it was OK to spin off the REIT, and that we'd win the lawsuit that we actually lost and put us into bankruptcy.... Has left the building.

A casualty of restructuring the department.

Adios Kristi. Best of luck in your new endeavors.

IGS Leadership Exodus

Two big exits in two weeks. Honestly feels like things might finally be moving in the right direction. Really hoping the unannounced / undecided LSS interim is the one we’re all secretly pulling for. And that today's announced CTO interim doesn’t end up permanent. Who's the next one to go?

Speculate: Why MD the CTO was let go?

I am wondering after such huge tech lay-offs Nike definitely must be saving some money, I am wondering why MD was laid off, she was on the AI train, making sure we have right tech roadmap, footprint.
Can anyone speculate what she did wrong?
She is remote is not an only acceptable reason, she has the wit and gut to do what she envisioned, whether remote or not. Just wondering why, please speculate!

Who is Frank Kos*d*

I want to revisit a question someone once posed: Who is/was Frank Kosd??

The rumor is that he was one of Frankservs buddies and got installed as an EVP with next to nothing in experience.

His linkedin confirmed this with really no previous roles listed, which is odd for someone who is an EVP at a major company.

Now I don’t even see him in Workday, and I saw him there as recent as last week…. was he freshly let go as of this week?

I’m surprised he continued for this long after Bisig left… it was always bizzare that he didn’t have any profile pictures anywhere, considering his level with the company.

Can anyone confirm he’s a real person?

Is this too many people "stepping down"?

I feel like I haven't seen this many execs decide to step down with no announcement of a new position somewhere else. If these were retirements, would they be announced as retirements? Or would they say "stepping down" and "spend time with my family" and keep retirement under wraps? Has this many step downs happened at HP before.

Justin get rid of weeds, but not enough

As American it is funny to see how those d-mbfu-ks from Finland are panicking but until Justin will weed out them till L4, sabotage will not stop.
USA market means COTS and COTS means thousands of Finns being useless and they know it.
At least he got rid of Tommi the Mo--n who lost ATT and Verizon! Now go after Niko and rest of them before they will derail attempts to win back USA for sake of saving their as--s

Leadership Better Get Cut Too!

I’ve pretty much accepted I’m probably getting canned today. No performance issues, just not the type to su-k up. If my direct leadership has any say in the cuts, I’m definitely on the list.

Honestly, I just hope they actually cut the bloat for once. Leaders are making way more than the rest of us, and one cut at their level could save a bunch of our salaries. We’re the ones doing all the work. Have you seen how many Band 5 and 6 leaders have zero direct reports on Inside Verizon lately? It’s ridiculous! How the he-l did we end up back here after 2015?
