What’s next to come ?

Wondering where this stops . Money needs to be saved from every corner . Not now but 5 years down the line , where do you think all the set of current directors and managers will be ? With HIH plus AI , where are we heading ? How are we doing... — read more

RTO not going as planned?

Is it just my office or is everyone watching their coworkers work a few hours and go home? Not to mention open desks all over the place on anchor days (even though it is busier). People don't seem to be following the 8 hours rule.

Next RTO wave

Thoughts/insight on phase 3? With all the seats being moved around can’t imagine they wouldn’t call back more “office aligned no seat assigned”

Evernorth Town Hall

Thread to discuss the Evernorth town hall from earlier today. One thing I can't believe is the mention of the a/c being out in part of the St. Louis office in the same breath as discussing FOW and anchor days. I also heard in a few meetings that... — read more

Reservation system cancelled my reservations

What does it mean when you reserve a desk for the following week and the system keeps canceling it. It has canceled my reservation several times for next week and it’s very annoying.

Davis Cordani is...

...getting filthy, rotten, stinking rich off our as--s. Since 2020 he has cashed out over $216 MILLION in stock options. That doesn't include his salary and other compensation. It's listed here:... — read more

Anchor days- monitoring?

For the anchor days does anyone know how it will be monitored? Or maybe when they expect monitoring will die off? I honestly just don’t want to go in at all and see how long I last but don’t know if that will happen.

When to jump ship?

Question for those looking or have left. How do you balance the difference between salary and PTO days at a potential employer? Does less money and PTO days automatically disqualify them or do you look at the overall culture of the other employer... — read more

What happened to our coffee

These power hungry weirdos can’t even give us our free coffee back after forcing everybody to come back to the office. It’s pathetic. Any time I mention this to a friend outside of Cigna, they are d-mbfounded that we don’t have coffee for employees... — read more

Anchor Days Are A Failure

Second week in there aren’t any more people in CT on anchor days than there used to be. Plus there are managers, directors, and VPs who have only been in a few times since I was forced back in September. “Dina’s we say, not as we do” All this does... — read more

Re-hire job eliminated staff?

I have to ask has any areas where opportunities and open positions were posted that they actually even considered hiring/rehiring staff that were recently job eliminated due to consolidation? I know so many colleagues who were let go and I’m... — read more

Declining Vitality

FOW is negatively impacting my vitality by adding stress, anxiety, anger and depression to my day. I am adding medical, behavioral and pharmaceutical expenses to Cigna. It has disrupted my 12 year WAH schedule. I can no longer walk with neighborhood ... — read more

Illness at the CTC?

Anyone know of something going around at the CTC? A coworker has been at the CTC this week and is now reporting feeling feverish and unwell. This is exactly why I don't want to go back to the office. I got COVID a few months ago and I'm still not... — read more

How did your coworkers react to your layoff?

I was separated in January. I think it's interesting which coworkers contact you after job elimination and most glaringly who doesn't. I truly appreciated those that reached out. I had made contact with my team and many others that I knew for years... — read more

The panel was literal propaganda and cringe

It was amateur hour and not even well-designed to make it sound like the office was such a selling point. Just be honest and say the only "selling point" is that the office may or may not have complimentary coffee for everyone. Oh I guess it's also a... — read more

Commuting on Company Time?

I saw a comment someone made about making the commute to and from the office on Cigna's time (i.e. during your work hours). A few months ago, there was a Webex q&a panel meeting thing about FOW and people in the chat were frustrated and saying... — read more

Cigna Medicare - PTO and HCSC?

Reading through the IRIS FAQ about the HCSC divesture, I am not too clear about the severance and PTO payout. I think the timing of the divesture is January 2025, and it's my understanding that Cigna will payout un-used PTO to employees who... — read more

I am grateful to this management

Things got so bad that it kickstarted me into looking for a new job - which I now found! Better pay, better bennies, and (hopefully) better culture. I couldn't be happier.

It issues at their worst

Evernorth employee here. Our systems are currently down and Contact Center can't even make calls or take them plus pharmacy systems down. Truly amazing sh-t going on!

Act: Complete mid-year review by June 21

“Employees are responsible for self-assessing their performance and progress against their goals. Managers are responsible for feedback…” I have been with Cigna for 15 years and dont remember being asked to do this. Weird

Contractor Layoffs

I’m an IT manager and just found out I have to fire all my contractors (US and offshore) which is about 3/4 the team and I have to replace them with FTEs from Hyderabad. Some of these guys have been on the team for 5-6 years and I am going to lose... — read more

Cap on salary increase for internal candidates?

Does Cigna cap the increase when moving from role to role? I know some companies only allow a certain percentage above current salary for internal candidates, regardless of the role's range. What's Cigna's policy?

IT problems

Has anyone else noticed a significant increase in IT-related issues that are impacting the business and taking much longer to resolve? Wondering if related to the mass layoffs in IT. Imagine that, Cigna, repercussions for actions! And we are stuck... — read more

Hyderabad “Innovation” Hub 💩

On top of general “workforce reductions”, Cigna is actively eliminating onshore roles and including entire teams only to rehire them from India to save a penny. You have been warned! This has been tried many times before and failed miserably. Entire... — read more
