Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

RTO

Is anyone else leaving specifically because of RTO? I know the goal is to get people to leave, and I'm doing exactly what they want, but I just can't go back. There are remote jobs out there. Not all CEOs are out of touch and making decisions that upset the majority of the workforce. Some would rather focus on keeping productivity high than stress over plummeting office real estate prices.

I can understand going to the office but am frustrated with their demand for 8 hours. There are people that take extended lunch and coffee breaks, why should I stay in the office if there is nobody else on my team there? RTO is just one factor for leaving. Expectation of unpaid overtime every week is another.

Molina Healthcare jobs are all remote with no plans to go back to an office. Check them out.

Yea. Hint usually privately owned companies don’t care about any RTO initiatives.
Cigna only cares about their share holders. Publicly traded companies are getting pressure from shareholders to get people back into commercial spaces and spending money in business districts.

“ Not to burst your bubble and I hope it works out for you, but HCSC requires 3 dpw in-office. If you were in-person at an office location which is moving to HCSC, you will almost certainly be hybrid.”

The good news is that there are no HCSC offices in my state as well as neighboring states to me. My department was already notified that all Cigna offices in my state are going to be staying with Cigna and then they will not be opening any new HCSC offices here, nor will we be required to relocate to a state with HCSCS offices. They also just changed my designation in Workday to remote.

“So happy to be leaving Cigna due to the whole RTO no offense to the rest of you”

RTO shows the callous ignorance and indifference of Cordani and his minions, in blaring neon colors.

I was involuntarily moved over as a matrix partner to the Medicare team conveying to HCSC. Couldn’t be happier because I was hybrid in office for Cigna three days a week with a super long commute and now I just got moved permanently to fully remote. Plus everyone from Medicare was just told that we will receive an automatic 3.5% merit increase in January regardless of performance. So happy to be leaving Cigna due to the whole RTO no offense to the rest of you
