Where is leadership?
Between people outside VMware yelling at VMware employees for being lazy (we’re not in general) and other junk we have to sift through, I have one question: where is the leadership? I have seen the CIO’s office emptied out, and have heard many are on... — read more
The Broadcom "innovation" myth
Broadcom's strategy doesn't prioritize innovation; instead, they rely on reducing VMware's costs to generate funds. Their growth primarily stems from acquiring companies rather than fostering innovation. For instance, if the VMware deal... — read more
Is it too much to expect a proper severance?
I was laid off before and received severance. While that layoff came as a surprise to me and was quite devastating personally, at-least I got severance that saw me through a few months. Over here, especially for India employees, the severance plan... — read more

There is no breakthrough in US chip sanctions on China
The day after putting on the show of smiles and habdshakes, US is showing signs on not relenting on what Xi called "tech containment" against China. Considering Broadcom's ties with China, and especially its Singaporean origin via Avago, Hock Tan... — read more
Is Broadcom even capable of taking on VMW?

At least the Panda situation is under control.

Stock price would not be above $142.50 if market thought there was no merger
Every single institution that holds VMW does so because they believe the merger will happen. If they thought it wouldn't, the price would not be above $142.50. Today VMW price is above $142.50, and AVGO is down. This is generally what happens to... — read more
VMW stock being held hostage

VMware is badly damaged now

vmw is still not mentioned as "suspend pending" on NYSE corporate actions page. https://www1.nyse.com/corporate-actions It has to be listed as pending for 10 days before closing. So, it means nothing is happening on or before NOV 26th.
So, what will happen, since Biden and Xi have met ?
