Some ops engineers were very responsive before, but now they just stopped responding to emails...

‘Ops People’ would be more inclusive. Please do better.
He-l yea brothers!
Strike the fûck out of VMware
They are all going to lose their jobs and are looking out for themselves so of course it's pretty normal... What else did you expect, peak performance at a time like this?
Apart from what @csp+1pCAV3HH said, all projects and work is on pause. No releases. No meetings. All cancelled. Work on what? Leadership is either MIA or busy with integration planning. Those with transition offers are doing their transition homework. Rest of us are waiting for axe to fall. Which may or may not be soon ! Since nothing is breaking and everything is working fine, we will probably be waiting for the axe to fall even if the deal doesn’t happen.
On the Sales side of things, we have no idea what we can sell. FUBAR
No letter for me, no work from me. If this closed in October I’d be gone, so I’m making like I already am.
Strike, no. Apathy, yes. EUC aside, all letters have been sent. Those without letters thereby know they are laid off as soon as deal closes. Some have continued at previous level of effort while others have not.
Take advantage of the time Ops folks, no worries from my end.
"Most of them(us) didn't get FTE offers. I haven't received one. (Or atleast people i know from adjacent teams). 90% of my team mates didn't receive one."
This is because OPs will be sold out to HCL.
when was the last time you heard from Raghou and Betsy? They used to be very responsive as well
No, not at all a strike. We are just waiting to hear an update from CEO on "how soon is SOON".
Most of them(us) didn't get FTE offers. I haven't received one. (Or atleast people i know from adjacent teams). 90% of my team mates didn't receive one. So there is generally a lack of motivation on the whole.
If someone didn't get a offer, it means any work they do is worthless. So what's the point in working and responding to your queries to maintain SLA and high number of tickets?
I honestly wanna work and give my best. But what's the point? Also the anxiety, it's mounting pressure on me.
