Given that there are five business days left to closing (including today, Friday) , I'm not convinced they have adequate time to close the deal. Friday next week is half a trading day. So all this needs to be done within three business days, assuming they announce today. The merger can only happen on the third business day after meeting all the requirements.
The deal was over. It won't go through. Forget about it.
