I been seeing volunteer rail relief crew taxi drivers again . Are they doing that where you work?

We had 15 guys and girls quit right after training in Bakersfield and the company said there was no work for them anywhere. But Stockton,Calif. They all QUIT. Need another 50 guys!! Trains are tying down

Our contract will be soon ratified. The union says will be getting a little over $40 an hours plus back pay. I love it!

Congestion is horrible. Morale is low. STB investigation. Legitimate talk of a strike. It has all happened since he took over

Up getting hammered bad by Stb in California. Up has strict orders to delivery plenty of feed to chicken farming place. Stb doing close supervision to be sure they get unit trains of feed on time.

I always thought when one railroad union went on strike we all did?? So much for solidarity I guess. Guess our unions will sit back and watch them.

I give to the friend to friend network . It helps pay a bit of expenses of injured or sick employees and people in their family .

It is quite certain that it was better to work here a few years ago than it is now. I may be exaggerating, but I think the opposite is true in the case of management, it is easier to be a manager here now than ever before. What do you think?

Took taxes out for employee recognition never received any money.. What a scam..

Alot of them wanting to go back to their craft because they can't handle the stress. Truthfully they should find and get another job. If they can't handle it now, what makes them think they'll be able to handle being back in tools.

May not bode well for the remaining execs...we shall see.

Yard air in the Lathrop and Stockton California Yard. According to TSS they're unoperable. The middle break hoses are cut, broken from goat drivers running them over daily. I guarantee air isn't being ran.

Just had some of the new hires quit. They worked a few weeks on the out of town jobs to see what the rr life is like.

How many dispatchers were furloughed last year ? How many came back to work at Up ? My point is to say if ya don’t have experienced , qualified dispatchers, how you going to run a rr to get rid of all train and car delivery delays ?

UP is just a stain on my resume, nothing more. Managers mostly strive to make living he-l out of employees' lives. Morale is very low and almost everyone I know is convinced that it can only get worse from here.

Can’t find anyone else to take the job. Too many people laid off or fired

I am actively looking for a new job, but until I get it I have to stay in this misery for a while. Everyone has to make the best of their situation and so I wonder what is the best way to deal with a bad job until you get a better offer?
