How long until instead of bonuses, UP is offering bail money for these felons they’re hiring? Bail as a condition of employment. Fire the whole executive team and start over.
For anyone that really believes this is a lie needs to wake up. Go look up the college fairs online, past and present! You'll be able to see in very clear writing who was invited to them. Ever wonder why the UP started the 2nd chance hiring initiative aimed at felons? You really don't need to think too hard about what 2+2 equals here.
UP has been uninvited from at least ten major colleges that I know of. Others have told their stories on here as well.
You have to be invited to these college job fairs as a recruiter and UP has burned bridges with several universities career placement services that used to place interns there and they’ve gotten bad feedback from their alumni.
If you dispute these basic facts you are either being disingenuous or you are ignorant of reality.
The post about UP being banned from most college fairs is a lie. This is totally false. I don’t agree with most of the things the company does, but just telling lies and making up things doesn’t do anyone any good.
I do believe that Andy Dufrense will make a great conductor. After all he did to escape the Shawshank.
