Everyone should call in sick on the same day regardless. Let this place sit idle for 24 hours.
Also, organize staggered layoffs between crafts within your service units. Have no engineers one weekend, the next have no conductors, the next no car department, etc. Stay within the guidelines of the attendance policy but make sure your entire craft is off. The only way there will ever be a decent contract is to hit the company where it hurts.
Never vote away the healthcare for their high-deductible BS, demand pay which puts the railroad wages back at the top of of the the market, and vote no for anything with one person crews.
So people will be lined up for our jobs if it pays less, with less benefits and even worse working conditions? Ok I’ll grab some popcorn sit down and watch the the s—t show! C’mon man.
