They're not moving due to crews being dead on hours and no crews and/vans to relieve them.

Get BW out here doing some rail relief van driving and see how it is.

Only POTUS can order us back to work in a major work dispute that has followed all RLA steps. Having said that...striking would be foolish, the unions have the upperhand in the coming PEB and possible Congressional action.

The carriers are already wrecking the industry in the eyes of the government, no need to contribute.

Slowed down cause they are scared of unions LOL. That's funny. When and IF we do strike, we will be forced back to work before lunch time. This company wipes it's a-s with our contracts already.

Slowed work on purpose. There is a cooling-off in effect and UP doesn't want a walk out after it so better to slow work down than pi-s off some hot heads even if technically due to law any walkout would be limited and quickly over. They are dealing with a pro union president and congress after all and would rather slow work that cause a scene that would favor the unions at the presidential committee. Long time union guy here on other crafts in other places and its exactly like this every time things are coming to ahead.
