How are the union negotiations going?

How are the negotiations going lately at the table between the Unions and the

Seeing that the percentage raises start at 2020 I would think back pay, of course if company gets their sad percentages passed, back pay won't be as much.

Snapshot:
Unions asking for 28% raise, $1000 signing bonus, health and welfare stays the same, 3 new holidays, 15 days paid sick leave.

BLET & SMART-TD:
Attendance Policies: On the effective date of the agreement, all non-negotiated
attendance policies will be abolished and BLET and SMART TD General
Committees of Adjustment shall have the right to serve notice on their respective
rail carrier(s) invoking mandatory negotiations on attendance rules and
requirements. General Committees of Adjustment having more generous existing
agreements have the right to retain those agreements.

NCCC: 16% raise Heath and welfare is going up (see chart), $1000 bonus for signing, no back pay. Conductors will take a pay cut to stay on the train, instead of taking a ground job.

@vfthhfxchhIn7683 What? I was getting a headache reading your somewhat incoherent post. Can you repost in a language that is at least above the 4th grade level?

TRK Houston waiting for retirement.Guess all them Years selling out Carmen really paid off.Negotiating what management wanted but guaranting Carmen that he is fighting for jobs and what's best for trade.Never getting time claims paid letting national agreements go out window cutting jobs ,moving jobs from locations, moving seniority from one location to another wrongfully dove tailing seniority.He-l he was so tight with management he ran back to hide under their desk to finish out last 6 yrs. The new union reps too lost to be able to negotiate and is on management coat tail.National will never answer phone.-So mechanical ride the train which ever way it takes you.Hush up sit back and ride baby ride.

The union wants $100 per hour with fully paid medical benefits, 100% match on 401k, 15 paid holidays per year, 10 weeks paid vacation per year, full retirement at 50 with 20 years service, and an annual profit sharing bonus of $100,000. The company wants to pay minimum wage with no benefits, no 401k plan, no paid vacation, no paid holidays, and no annual bonus. Oh, I forgot, the first part is what the union wants for the union officers, the second part is what the railroad is offering the employees.
