Circling the Drain

Well if attrition is what they want, that's what they're going to get more of this time around. But it's the same old DST song. The people with options left a long, looooooong time ago. Now you have the disengaged hangers, who don't really know or do... — read more

The video by Mike S this week was a joke. No useful information. They are sticking with the BS excuses for no raises.

Ss&c health who's buying?

Word on the street is the new healthcare ceo got mr bs a seat at the dinner table with ibm. Lots of medical data on the heathcare side of ss&c for data analytics. Ss&c lacks the innovation and talent to put it to use. If only a company existed like... — read more

DSTPS management on their way out.

CEO is gone. VP (buddy of CEO) was promoted to take CEO’s place by the CEO before leaving, has given notice. More managers will be joining them. SS&C is wise to clean house on Managent level.

New tenant in BWB?

I think DST is supposed to be out of BWB by the end of the year. Wonder if the building will be a potential landing spot for Waddell now that they have announced they are looking to move? Could be a bitter pill for the former DST folks working there... — read more

Layoffs and DST closing is a blessing

DST was always known as a sweatshop with poor management, and abusive management. Nowdays some of the stunts the managers pulled would be considered "hostile work environment" and there would be lawsuits filed. DST could have been a much bigger and... — read more

Long term career at DST?

Does anybody still believes there is such a thing? Both older and newer employees - do you think a long term career is still a viable thing at DST?

This is just the start

The sad part is the hurt is only begining. Large successful companies get that way by providing innovative services or products. Like every established company the innovation fade's over time. Stone is making a good attemp to keep it going by... — read more

DST needs to stop getting rid of people

We can't lose anymore people and continue to function properly. Too many people have been laid off, too many have left on their own, and too few were brought in to replace them. We are doing the work of two-three people each and if we have to pick up... — read more
