Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

Circling the Drain

Well if attrition is what they want, that's what they're going to get more of this time around. But it's the same old DST song. The people with options left a long, looooooong time ago. Now you have the disengaged hangers, who don't really know or do anything. Makes for a tremendously bad place to work. And customers? Who cares about them?

Maybe they'll make some more worthless stock grants, who knows. Anyway, it's all a well known phenomenon, basically not way to pull out of this nose dive.

The problem is that that they manage from a high level only. The don’t care what is happening to the rank and file employee at all. Since the merger, It continues to get worse and worse. The treatment of employees is at an all time low, employee morale has been destroyed and there is little of no hope for a decent future. I believe everybody is circling the drain currently.

I would like to see out new leaders get involved to work on the betterment the entire company bottom to top, not just to work on sales and keep the same old same old going. The company is currently loosing and I would like to see a revitalized company with happy employees.

Indeed this is the case. The sad truth is BS hired talented ceo's just to have them play s—er to a chief who is well versed in manipulating horrible ideas into butterfly's and rainbows at the companies expense.
