Word on the street is the new healthcare ceo got mr bs a seat at the dinner table with ibm. Lots of medical data on the heathcare side of ss&c for data analytics. Ss&c lacks the innovation and talent to put it to use. If only a company existed like ibm that specializes in data analytics. Bonus points if the company owns red hat.

It is a shame, but they're not even being paid US minimum wage over there. Those 20 folks are the price of one on shore, high level software engineer, for example. Most developments off shore too. Oh they can do the work, but they don't experience to build for scalability and sustainability, or the incentive, or the direction from the on shore business becuase that all adds time to schedules and cost. Cutting costs is all that matters. Oh the customer envionrment are down? And you can't trouble shoot because the deployment envrionment is byzantine, and the app doesn't have any logging because no one told offshore to build it in? And customers are p-ss-d?
Yep that's how it goes.
20 new hires in Hyberdad, India. It is a shame they were not U.S. citizens. QA analysts that have historically done a pathetic job -a waste of time getting products to market. And a shame for US employment.
That data does not belong to SS&C. It belongs to their clients. Just like all the mutual fund data - it belongs to the fund companies.
