Employees are receiving emails from SS&C corporate informing them they are furloughed indefinitely immediately. After the email is read their access is terminated. The email comes read receipt required. This started April 27th.
Layoffs are a thing of the past. The new hype is endless attrition mixed with the struggle to replace as many u.s works with the more intelligent offshore workers.
Yep. The reviews will be brutal. So why lay people off when they will quit after getting screwed out of a pittance of a raise?
Seems unlikely they'd do layoffs in the middle of a performance review cycle?
