DST only cared for their top executives. I expected layoffs long ago, to boos stock price. DST cared less about their staff, or their careers. You even had to pay to park in their company owned lot, even though it was for their benefit. Other companies have free parking, career advancement and MOST importantly - no "fault finding management style". So many times employees were blamed for making a mistake at DST when it was later found they had not. It was run by childish Rockhurst graduates

No more layoffs, get back to work, slaves.
I actually agree with bitter. Dst had a management style of motivation through criticism and putting people on edge. Its discussed at any seminar on employee motivation as the worst management style. Did anyone at dst ever have a manager say "thats ok, we are all human, i have made the same mistake"? I bet not. Too often I heard of aloof managers with unkind words. Managers didnt seem to realize mistakes happen at all companies. Dont jump to the fast conclusion the employee is stupid and worthless. I went to Marion M. Dow. Mistakes made daily. Ewing was kind and respectful. Even if we lost a patent by error.
Bitter? Party of one, your table is ready...
