The Plan May Work

Saudis and Russians want to put US shale, oil and gas out of business. They are taking the "loss leader" approach right now, and can survive for 4-6 months with oil at $22 or less. They're betting that US companies will go out of business in 3-4... — read more

Terrible upper management

Can you imagine how many jobs would be saved if the CEO and VPs took pay cuts like a lot of upper management are taking at other companies at this difficult time. You cannot say people are your greatest asset when you offer them positions in the... — read more

JC and your toadies. Read here about a dedicated CEO. 14th floor of Apache was grossly overpaid before all this and has taken enough. How about at least a 50% reduction in the cost of the 14th floor? Boeing says its CEO and its chairman will... — read more

Apache Anadarko merger

Just think of how things would have played out if Apache would have merged with Anadarko back in 2015 when it was rejected. Great move by this CEO to protect his own a** and his lap dogs. Would have had a lot of great DWB acreage!

Rollcall - CEO Resignation

Its time, it has been time for awhile. We know it, HE knows it. I welcome any rebuttal to the idea that this CEO has steered this company into an iceberg. None of it is due to market difficulties or anything else that he has laid blame on. This... — read more

Apache let go of every contractor that works everyday with us. Some have been here for 23 years. Thanks John. Do the right thing and resign. You failed.

Old Marv.

I can tell everybody reading this, that if you didn’t work in the oil industry in the early 1980s, you’ve never seen a bust. It was so severe that if equipment broke down, companies would just drag it away from the main road, strip the decals off... — read more
