Thread regarding Apache Corp. layoffs

Alpine High staff now runs Permian

With the failure of Alpine High, it makes perfect sense to move that staff into Permian and cut the Permian staff that kept the cash flow coming into Apache. Logical move JC.

With oil below $20, the only way to go is up. JC will say it was the great Apache restructure.

AH staff don’t know their A$$from a hole in the ground. They were given a blank check by the rest of Apache and bankrupted AH in less than 4 years. Now these id–ts (Brett Kennedy and Clay Bretches) are in the process of ruining Apache and the current employees morale. Apache will be lucky not to be in Chapter 7 by the end of the year.

Oil worth nothing. Was it a good idea to shut in all the gas now—nope! Interesting that the biggest failure in its existence (AH) is yet again a failure in its absence. JC makes mess of both decisions. Hilarious and horrible.

Who is posting that AH staff is top notch obviously don’t know a hole in the ground from their a**. AH staff has no ethics and can’t find a drop of oil. Want to argue? Explain the financial situation of the company?

Funny thing about the OP, Alpine High was the baby. It didn't create itself. The people who made that decision ran the Permian in the first place. Don't be a dumba**.

90% of the AH staff was laid-off over the past 2 months, there aren't many left to run anything. Remember the ones making these high-level decisions are the problem (who are still there), not the hard working people that were let go. They just took there orders from the top. Your not going to fix the company by getting rid of the best employees, the top of the organization needs to be weeded out starting with JC. JC approved everything AH was doing it let it continue on while he continued raking in money. Next up, Suriname High! You will get fleeced again. Don't trust any of the BS they are telling you.

The office should have never been opened in the first place. No doubt it's got some talent. But the pipe dream of being some hot, new shale powerhouse was a dumb one, perpetuated by the spineless leadership of our CEO. Employees and shareholders alike have every reason to be furious with the executive team.

AH staff are top notch. They successfully dealt with challenging circumstances and did not control high level deals. Cut them a break. These folks care about their work and the company.
