Yeah its bad trying to get into the Texas unemployment site. A buddy of my gave me a good tip albeit inconvenient but works. In case anyone needs to, utilize the service in the late hours when most people are sleeping. I have not had issue doing this. Hope it helps.

Was any reason given for the denial?
After my severance pay, unemployment has denied benefits. So frustrated fighting with TWC for weeks. Phone calls and emails in the thousands, for -0- help.

Anybody know if you can qualify for Texas Unemployment benefits after a lump sum severance payment? We are waiting on TWC decision. This is a scary time with oil bust and Covid 19.
