It’s not the agents it’s the “team members”
I work in SFPP. For the most part, this is a cushy job within State Farm. I am also trained in SFBilling (modernization) which is a nightmare but still cushy compared to claims. Lately, I have seen a giant uptick in hold times in SFPP/SFBilling... — read more

Rumored again.
They don't know how to get the best out of people
I don't know what the reason for that is - either they are incompetent, or they don't care or maybe they don't try hard enough to get the best out of people.... I wonder if the situation is any better in this regard in other companies in the... — read more
Management needs to be held accountable
Overtime mandatory over a year now. Seems management should be held accountable since it’s obviously not working and costing the company a fortune!
I'm applying for underwriter position and see a salary. Is it a flat salary or if you work overtime you get paid more?
I notice the underwriting assistant positions say hourly so I'm assuming maybe the underwriting position is a flat rate and even if you work overtime you won't make more but would like to confirm. Thanks.
SF lacks talent
This place now is just a shadow of the company it used to be. It is not strange that those with the greatest talent left, but it is strange that some (although very few) are still here. - I am not sure if the leadership is aware of the consequences... — read more
Striking a balance
While some teams are overstaffed, often with employees for whom no one knows what they are doing, other teams do not have enough employees to function successfully. Will there ever be a balance here?

Why doesn't SF improve the training of new hires?
Hiring new people without providing them with adequate training...isn't that a terrible waste of money? This way they are not enabled to adapt easily, they are literally lost at their new jobs and of course they end up leaving unsatisfied. I... — read more

It seems that the retention time of new hires is getting shorter
It takes about half a year before a new hire knows if he/she liked a company and whether he/she can fit into the company's culture. But have you noticed how newbies stay shorter and shorter? If I were the leadership, this would be a worry for me. — read more
