They just changed the rules for severance yesterday to hold people hostage today. Sorry ET folks.

If the employees would have done your job and kept your customers happy *Agency/Claims/Etc and would go back to the office the outcome might have been different.
You should know that the ET executive cares very much for all associates
@Insuretech, God bless you. You been drinking? Its okay, I get what you're saying about the Byzantine nature of old and yet critical systems to SF operations. May those MGT pukes get tripped up running those systems without interrupting operations.
They never realized Bloomington was the advantage for SF. Low attrition and high retention. The moment they sent the employees to hubs..the employees got the taste for outside ..like a bird out of the cage. So costs have become high to.maintain the hubs and they are all now crying what happened with this. Any smart person will ask how long we can sustain as lazy b-ms..reality hits and this is what it takes. The Jake wears khaki and the employees are sent a pink slip. The bright side try to respect other tech companies and embrace them. Not even single successful transformation project due to their incompetence to execute. While all other insurance companies are on their third transformation, they still take pride in issuing policies on IMS Db and now they complain about outsourcing infra ..May be they want a retirement fine tuning a structure in MVSJCL.
This is why the leadership likes this company.

I think reality hit hard on the farm. They have sustained till now with a massive IT workforce of thousands. They are on cost cutting measure and every one starts to hate their employer. The bright side is HCL Tech is much better than Statefaem IT..as they have broader client ecosystem and u can learn more on the technology perspectives . A much better time spent than fiddling your thumbs in the H1 Cafe or playing Poker.
Why on earth did they move people to hubs in states they have elbowed up to? The papers are next to the corvette in Tippy's garage....
The areas affected are just a test run so they can farm out the rest of IT. Get out while you can because it's coming. AD Services is next with what they call vended solutions. Get out before you get burnt. Sad only a week provided from today to make the decision to stay on or leave with whatever they determine tomorrow. Staying on your only guaranteed 1 yr before they show you the door and bring in cheaper replacements. It's a shell game with forced retirements. They know they can't simply lay you off without a ripple effect so a company coming in to do it makes it easier for them to force people out. Go read some of things the company has done to its employees and you will catch my drift.
Time to lawyer up!
No severance, potentially making kess with Indian body shop, and diminished pension payout. What a toxic combination. Gonna be a lot of angry insider threat actors at the farm remaining.
Correct.
Just get ready after they get this in place then next is the rest of ET.
How?

Who is holding you hostage? You have great skills, the market is wide open. The world is your oyster!!
