They don't care that employees are anxiously waiting to find out how many people will be impacted, whether the cuts will apply to the entire department or specific areas within ET and other details.
This goes to show, once again, that for them we are just a number.
I can only imagine how the ET employees feel right now...

This is just a tip of the iceberg. This has been the making for well over a year. Guaranteed they are looking for other areas to outsource within State Farm. I heard about this last week from a source and thought it was a joke but it looks to be a real thing. What ever area you are working in you better start developing to be competitive in the job market. Just a heads up.

Lead Software Engineer here. What was the whole push for nextGen & to AWS for? They were always saying they were desperate for talent & everyone needs to upskill ASAP. Now I am reverse-outsourced to HCL? I referred a guy who just got hired & another that is starting in a few days. wtf
