My Sr. Director said on Monday that the cuts would be communicated today. So far, I've heard nothing. So that means I'm safe? They're not doing it today? Who knows?

It was already noon time and all notices were sent. It looks like not many people reported layoff in San Diego but massive layoff happened in remote sites.

Anybody else here wanted to be laid off but is not? This might sound insensitive to those who are let go today but I wish the timing of this was better and they had offered a voluntary severance package.

Because I am gone ... not sure if staying or leaving is more sour. I guess will find out in coming months. Good luck to who stays and good luck to whom is gone!!

Anticipate an email notice before getting called into one on one with your director. This layoff is just too large to do it purely via calls/teams and face to face.

It is almost noon in India and there is no info on layoffs. No sudden meetings or upset people in the office or people abruptly leaving the office. Everything is eerily quite. Have the layoffs been pushed out again ?
