Pay Raises

So did others get a higher raise percentage than usual due to inflation? I only got 3.5% so was expecting higher. Just seeing if that seems standard or if it's because my manager allocated the majority to all of his best buddies on the team.

Lenovo only care $$

So not sure if I am the only one that notice this but it seems to me Lenovo only cares to make more money and that’s all they talk about. Nothing about work life balance or providing employees with perks. I only been here for couple months but I... — read more

Management is terrible

The place is a toxic mess that promotes bu-t kissing and yes-maning over the sharing of new ideas or offering suggestions that could result in improvements to current processes. We could be doing so much better with competent management in charge but... — read more

Struggling with my workload

The workload is really huge and i have to find ways to cope with it. I am under tremendous stress and I am thinking of leaving as soon as I get a better offer. Maybe this overload is just a way for Lenovo to get rid of long-term employees? But... — read more

Any recently joined employees and regretting

Anyone recently joined Lenovo and seriously regretting your choice? The large workload, the lack of process, anyone thinking of joining Lenovo, be careful they just push you in the deep end. Please tell me I am not the only one feeling this way

What a mess

Wow this company feels so disorganized with no governance in place.. I recently joined and I am questioning my decision. Anyone feels this way?

I'm losing motivation

It's hard to stay motivated with all the things that have been happening lately. It's not just the layoffs, but that's certainly part of it. The culture shift, political plays, and the lack of career progression are among the main issues that are... — read more

This was the push I needed

I've been considering leaving Lenovo for over a year but I always found a reason to stay. Not anymore. I refuse to work for a company that profits from genocide one day longer than I have to. I've been looking for the past few weeks and I already... — read more

Lenovo's approach to attracting and retaining talent

I just read this article on the diversity and inclusion initiative: https://www.computerworld.com/article/3651048/lenovo-diversity-inclusion-tech-employees.html and the question arises as to whether Lenovo has become inclusive for all but those... — read more

Excess management is a huge waste of money

Old article from Harvard Business Review that confirms what we already know: we don't need half the management we have. Even that is probably too much. https://hbr.org/2016/09/excess-management-is-costing-the-us-3-trillion-per-year

Always look on the bright side!

From my personal experience, yes, it is true, it's a sweatshop here, workload is often unrealistic, deadlines are getting shorter, favoritism is very present, etc., but I managed to ignore it all and was only interested in upgrading my skillset as... — read more

Nothing seems to be getting better here?

When I think it can't get any worse, Lenovo surprises me. I was really hoping that things would start to get better, but despite all my hopes, this place is doomed. Unfortunately. I think Lenovo could have done a lot better.

I will rejoice only once I leave here

Does it make any sense to celebrate when one toxic topdog leaves the company because this company is full of such people? I don't expect anything to get better. I can only get better somewhere else.

Why is favoritism on the rise?

This has crossed every line. Favoritism has always been present here, but now it's happening to such an extent that it leaves no room for hard workers. Hard work seems to have never paid off less. It becomes humiliating for any honest and... — read more
