From my personal experience, yes, it is true, it's a sweatshop here, workload is often unrealistic, deadlines are getting shorter, favoritism is very present, etc., but I managed to ignore it all and was only interested in upgrading my skillset as much as possible.
Of course it was hard but it paid off. These are my last days here because I got a much better offer. I think for most people here this was a good stepping stone?

ONLY the smart ones leave this PoS company by choice or layoff. Regardless of the reason, you are no longer there and life is better. Encouraged a friend's son not to take a job there last May. His friend took a job and left after 6 months. They are both at the same company now. The one said it was the worst decision ever to take a job there out of college.
can somebody explain how permittivity and permeability relate to causality
At that place, you are the stepping stone.
Agree with OP. The culture is toxic, death marches are the norm, bullying and abuse is frequent by those who 'out-rank' you, and brownnosing favoritism is the only way up. As an engineer, you do get to work on some pretty cool stuff that can look good on a resume. I quit Lenovo a couple of years back and make a lot more money in a much better environment now. Use them like they use you!
