I love my job, but I don't love it so much that I constantly work overtime to get everything done. The manager does not care that his expectations are unrealistic, because he has probably never tried to do such a large amount of work by himself. Honestly guys, how busy are you? I am on the verge of burnout.

The place sucks. It's all about the numbers just as you are.
And if you dare ever complain about being stressed and overworked, be prepared to be publicly bullied and ridiculed by someone who out-ranks you; usually former IBM'ers think this is sporting and funny to do.
This place sucks, overworked and too cheap to provide additional headcount. I regret joining this company. For such a well know big company, it sucks and too cheap to invest in process that actually work.
Did your manager used to work IBM at one time? In my experience, many of those managers are worse than the non-IBM managers. One of the directors from IBM would hold a raffle at the holidays; he'd see who had the winning tickets first, then pull out a the prize. If he liked you, you'd get a nice prize like an IPad. On the other hand, if he didn't like you, you'd get a gag gift like a board with nails. Favoritism at it's finest.
This is the way it was when I was there. Put in a ton of hours and maybe get a pat on the head with a '2' rating when it comes time for evaluations. If you're not playing political games and looking for more 'visibility', you're not doing it right and you won't go anywhere in this company.
