The place is a toxic mess that promotes bu-t kissing and yes-maning over the sharing of new ideas or offering suggestions that could result in improvements to current processes. We could be doing so much better with competent management in charge but I guess we're out of luck.

There is no management...just brown stained lips!!! They get brown stained lips from blowing sunshine up their Execs rears. That is all management is at Lenovo. If your lips aren't browner than your manager's, you are useless to him.

Yes, that is 100 % true. I know one director who had T-shirts with the executive director's name on the back made for the subordinates to wear.

Well, everyone, this is how Lenovo "leadership" thinks of you: When there's a problem, It's never their fault, it's ALWAYS yours. They're not here to help you grow, there here to tell you that you're a loser and you're not worth the bonus they say they've "earned". They think they're hard workers who have earned their paycheck - and you - you're beneath them, in every sense of the term. Do you know what types of people exhibit that same type of behavior? Gas-lighting psychopaths.
How did they earn this great bonus? By doing the opposite of what good, competent management should :
- Take credit for things they didn't do or weren't even a part of
- Push people under the bus who don't have the power to defend themselves
- Shamelessly self-promote how great they think they are (then push tons of work on their reports to prove it and watch as the peons struggle to get anything done)
- Brown nose, kiss a$$, boot-lick their managers
- 9/9/6 culture is good. If you don't subscribe to it, you're lazy. Get back to work and make management richer.
