Layoffs Spain
Is it true that they will lay
off less than 30 people? Is this the total number or the number for each legal entity? End of May is when people will need to leave or when they'll be notified?

Any hint at the date for this round?
Curious to see if people requested Early retirement in Spain and now are part of the RIF/ERE.
I was wondering if there are people in Spain who requested Early Retirement but instead ended up on the RIF/ERE list and simply getting the RIF/ERE Package instead of the Early Retirement package. I think Oracle abuses the fact that people conform the Early retirement program and are getting fired with a much lower payment.

How are Work Councils handling layoffs in your city? What information did you receive? It seems some people in Málaga were told they were impacted, while in Barcelona the WC keeps hiding behind the confidentiality.

Telefonica plans to lay off 6,000 workers this year
Spanish telecoms group Telefonica plans to lay off at least 6,000 employees across several units before the end of the year, newspaper Expansion reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the plans.
The total number of workers initially affected by the redundancy plan could rise to 7,000 out of a global workforce of around 100,000, the report added, although negotiations with unions tend to reduce such targets.

Layoffs in Spain
Hi everyone - so it was just announced by SAP Spain that they are starting another mass layoff process in the country.
Given the legal requirements of the process, this means it's at least 30 positions impacted of the ~1000 we have here.
I guess the writing was on the wall after that Q2 earnings call with Christian and Dominik.
I'm curious if anybody else has heard from other countries being impacted too?
