Nothing says ‘clear direction’ like executives flying to Vegas to align on how well things are going. I imagine breakout sessions are scheduled, though they may struggle to cut through the recycled ideas, hot air, and self-congratulation already choking the room.

It’s where they go to blow our budget from not giving anyone raises in wealth, cheat on their spouses, and synergize on new creative ways of announcing delayed decisions and how to best extend direction setting while keeping everyone on their toes. Business as usual.

What happens in Vegas , stays in Vegas!

Someone had to say it.

Wealth seems to be struggling with a major lack of direction. In fact, their 'strategy' appears to be having no strategy at all. The organization is top-heavy, with an excessive number of SVPs and VPs who seem to have very little work, leading them to aggressively defend their roles. Most squad leads and group chapter leads ( whose purpose is questionable) also appear to be wasting time.

I think it’s just a regular Wealth SLT offsite meeting. About 20 people in Wealth leadership. It’s an offsite and the reason it’s in Vegas is one of the leaders lives there. They’re talking about strategy.

They’re probably all just pretending they’re good at their jobs.
