Question about July raises

So what exactly is going to happen to long time employees who got shafted last year, and were told we'll take care of you next year? All this talk of redlines being removed, caps done away with, and yet nobody seems to know anything about how this... — read more

All the good people are walking away

Everybody is tired of being treated like cr-p and not being recognized for the good work we've been doing. I'm noticing that more and more good employees are leaving. If this continues, our store will be left just with lazy brown nosers, and I'd love... — read more

Having the worst day ever

In the past, it only happened sometimes that I had a horrible day that totally drained my energy. Then those awful days became more frequent. Now I’m having the “worst day ever” literally every other day. When was the last time you had a... — read more

They can never have enough

My hours are cut, but I am still expected to do almost the same amount of work as before. Has this happened to anyone else? This company never gets tired of squeezing us more and more every day.

Strong first quarter results

I'll just put this here: https://www.cvshealth.com/news-and-insights/press-releases/cvs-health-reports-results-2022-q1 Isn't it weird that in the meantime more and more people want to leave?

Near min wage

It only makes sense to leaave because i worked here for years and being near min wage is crazy. Im making what people are starting up with and i put work in to get and earn my pay. New employees are damn near just starting out with what i make now... — read more

Dollar General a lot like CVS

Here is a story about DG. Their corporate leadership must’ve learned their ways at CVS. I really wish the general public would have more awareness on how bad these retailers treat their store level employees... — read more

Splitting FS and RX

The opinions of my colleagues are divided. Some see nothing good about this, and some do. What are your thoughts?

Question

Do they dr-g test for all internal promotions?

The problem is...

Ultimately CVS is a healthcare and an insurance company. When have you ever trusted those entities separately much less together as one.

Job Market

If you are getting paid close to the min wage, please consider looking for a different job. The job market is really good right now and you can find a job that has stable hours and will not require you to work weekends or late hours. If you have some... — read more

Totally reckless cutting of hours

After cutting my hours, I started sending out applications for other jobs. This company makes terribly inconsiderate decisions. How do they think that everything should continue to function as it did before after this insane cutting of hours?

The main reason why you left?

(or intend to leave) Many of my colleagues are leaving because they are dissatisfied with pay, but I intend to give notice soon because I can no longer bear all the favoritism going on.

Retail segment is suffering and is not well organized

It looks to me like the people that are running the company don’t know the first thing about the business that we’re in, but are rather running the retail segment as it was Walmart or something. It seems that the tasks are just dropped on us from... — read more

Are there any special criteria for hiring at CVS

I am currently in the process of looking for a new job. I have applied at 5 companies and all of them got back to me about the application except CVS. I even got 2 interviews. From CVS I didn’t even get a response, like I didn't apply at all. Kind... — read more

DSSM

DSSM staying?? What does this point to with the restructuring?

Never good enough

I have never heard management say something good about us. They’re just thinking how they can squeeze us even more, but, rarely does a manager really see how hard people work here. They don't see it because they don't want to see it. Yet they are... — read more

Restructuring & layoffs??

Been hearing all these rumors about restructuring, which could possibly lead to layoffs. Anyone know truth from fiction? And any idea when whatever this is might happen? Thanks in advance! I just want to keep a step ahead of whatever's coming.

Payroll

So my manager is paying a couple of her cronies out of her pocket instead of having them clock in . (Since payroll is so tight)I bet the DL will cover for her and sweep it under the rug . I think my manager should be fired over this . Should I... — read more

You Must Love The Drama

All I read here and on Reditt is how horrible this company is and how unmanageable the job is. You ARE 100% correct on both accounts. But what I can’t understand is why you all put up with it. It’s either you like the abuse, or you love the drama. I... — read more

Hours cut but the amount of work still the same

My hours have been drastically cut, but the amount of work is the same as before. Does CVS really think I will stay here and work under such conditions? I certainly won't. Leadership behaves as if no one here has another option, and in fact there... — read more

Unrealistic goals
