As the title suggests I am getting so many hits on indeed. But then when they go to apply they never show up in the reqs. It’s really frustrating when I have so many people that want a job but can’t hire them because of some stupid algorithm. And I’m so short staffed it’s not even funny.

Reminder everyone! A company that makes hiring (at least for retail jobs) so complex doesn’t actually want you to hire.
They want you to be understaffed! They don’t want you to be able to use the hours given. Let that sink in! If they wanted everyone to be staffed up for the busiest time of year (flu and COVID shots) hiring wouldn’t be a an endless maze of tasks.
So I repeat they want you to be understaffed. This allows them to make record profits.

I interviewed for a tech job but couldn't understand a word the Indian interviewer was asking so I said I was done. That just gave me insight as to the mess that I would have been walking into

I’m sorry you are short staffed. But this is the best thing that can happen to these candidates. They don’t know it, but not being chosen to work for CVS is the best thing for their health and their future. You should sleep soundly knowing that your inability to hire these people is actually helping others enrich their lives.
