No direction, no strategy
What is our path to future revenue growth? Is there some overreaching plan that I'm missing that does not include laying off more and more employees each year? I truly hope there is, because if that's the only strategy this leadership can come up... — read more
Exhausted
The reorg is poorly done, I am exhausted. No vision on what to do next? Is I am the only person feeling this way?
Don’t hate me, I actually think my team need to be cut soemwhat
For example, today there is a 10 person call, and only 5actually have some inputs, all others are just hanging out. Lol.
Competition vs cooperation
With layoffs constantly hanging over our heads, everything has turned into competition instead of cooperation. Personally, I think it makes no difference. No matter what you do, if the numbers make sense to those on top, you'll be gone. Making... — read more

Stop playing lawyer. Save yourself some time, confusion and anguish.
Lots of controversy over what is fair vs. what is legal. These are two different things. Place all the arm chair lawyers advice aside and get to the facts as per your state. It’s rather simple and you can find the answers to all your questions... — read more

DEI, Consultants are back and will be increasing
Get ready for more issues from DEI and Consultants. Already I noticed their numbers are rising inside Citi.
Will anyone ever ask Jane a real question during a town hall, instead of the usual canned and rehearsed cr@p that usually occurs?
And would Jane have the courage and moral compass to answer an honest question? Here's an example; how much $ did Citi pay BCG for their role in this reorg debacle? 1
Lawsuit against employer, can they blacklist you?

Direct report

What’s the come?
Can someone provide insight on what’s coming next? Do we know there will be an additional 15,000 employees laid off? Is the worst of it over?
Is anything happening on Apr 15th other than tax day of course?
That date keeps coming up in meetings with no details. “After the 15 of April, we will see” and such.
Site visits from senior management this week
What has your experience been with these visits this week?
Right now Citi reminds me of freshly new roadkill in its death throes spasms.
I have doubts as to the sustainability of it all. MD direct reports fluctuating several times a day, two steps forward, three steps back, 1 step to the side, people being shuffled to and fro several times in a week. Clearly there’s no direction, no... — read more
