NY. You must have already received general information from NY unemployment.
Verify your stubs NY unemployment insurance must be deducted
You file unemployment in the state to which you paid into the unemployment insurance fund. Sounds like NY in your case.
You file where you pay tax. If NY state tax is being deducted from your check you file in NY. If only NJ state tax is taken out for file in NJ. Also check global directory it should say where you are an employee and which office you report out of.
