Current manager is not informed by HR or the process of applying.
If and when an offer is extended you can then inform your manager of your intentions.

And how you guys apply? Is there a separate link? Or you have to do networking to understand which team is looking for new talent?

Generally, the HR partner for your current function will see the application, especially if it happens to be in the same line of business. When the HR partner sees your app, they seem to ALWAYS alert your current manager. Not necessarily in a bad way, but they always seem to communicate what is going on. Your current manager may or may not ask you about it. Just be prepared with your response.

Be upfront with recruiter and hiring manager that your current management does not know you are looking at other roles that interest your professional aspirations and would prefer that is kept confidential until there is the possibility of a formal offer. At that point you would notify your leadership.

This is usually well received and understood. However, never a guarantee, especially if someone knows someone.

Manager will get email if we submit internal mobility job application? I can see my manager kept me aside since from one year without giving work, after I applied internal mobility job.

Go ahead and apply, by system you should be covered however there there is always chance that hiring manager can ask your current manager about you. Usually at stage where you became serious match for position, if they will reject your CV at initial stage I would doubt anyone will ask your manager about you ;)

You don’t have to tell your manager period! I’ve always waited until an offer was extended. Managers say they encourage mobility but it’s further from the truth. You’ll be better off keeping it to yourself and wait until you have a definite answer.
