Mainly because I want to get back to business as usual - or move on if that happens to be the case. Currently, I feel like I'm stuck in limbo and I've been feeling like that since the acquisition was announced. It's hard to concentrate when I'm... — read more
VMware and Citrix a shared fate
I’ve often followed the development of VMware and Citrix for many years. They have had many common paths and rubbed shoulders for many years with EUC and a little foray with XenServer for Citrix which they fu---d up It’s ironic they have suffered... — read more
How many of your colleagues have already left since the announcement?
So far only one of my colleagues has left but I'm worried about more people leaving because I'll end up drowning in work.

VMWare Exit Interviews
For anyone who has left VMware since the acquisition announcement / in the last few weeks especially, is VMWare still conducting exit interviews?
Question on Severance
I know this was answered previously but could not find the info on the long list of topics. Question to former CA and Symantec employees - What was the severance paid at layoff? Is it one week per year of service?
CHILL!

What is your exit plan?
I have a colleague who, in my opinion, made a mistake by accepting a lower paying job, just to get out of here as soon as possible. On the other hand, I'm not at all sure if it's wise to wait a long time and be too picky.
Broadcom's Letter to VMware Employees
What did the letter state? I haven't been able to open it up on any browser. What are your thoughts on it?
Playbook Change?
I understand that the common understanding is that all decisions at Broadcom are Hock Tan’s decision so my question is, what are the odds that the acquisition playbook followed with CA and Symantec was a Krause playbook and that things will be... — read more

We have enough unknowns as it is, we don't need more added into the mix.

Desperation to get us to quit

CA & Symantec vs VMware Hiring
VMware has around 6,800 jobs open on LI. About 2,500 of those jobs were posted in the last week and 2,400 of those jobs are remote. A friend I referred just started last week. Everyone wants to compare this situation to Symantec and CA. Well, when... — read more
