We have enough unknowns as it is, we don't need more added into the mix.

“ Broadcom Chief Executive Officer Hock Tan will assume his responsibilities and the position of President of Broadcom’s software group will be eliminated”
Now I know for sure my job is safe. 💩
Much leadership, such lean!
I love it! One just can’t make this stuff up. Popcorn time!
Ah great,
he was just made redundant!
Summary:
Tom Krause is resigning as president of the chipmaker’s software group effective July 15 to move to another company.
Broadcom didn’t disclose Krause’s new employer beyond saying it’s a privately held enterprise software company.
Broadcom Chief Executive Officer Hock Tan will assume his responsibilities and the position of president of Broadcom’s software group will be eliminated.
Showing yet again that they operate lean.
Can someone sum up the latest news?
He probably quit because he didn’t agree with the deep cuts required.
He's talking about Tom Krause, the president of the software division that was supposed to be our new leader post acquisition.
Actually, I would expect a continuous amount of turmoil within leadership as the acquisition progresses forward. They know that they will all be gone eventually, so any one of them will jump ship at the next best opportunity. By the way, is the original poster referring to Augenstein's departure or something even more recent?
Talk about unfortunate timing.
