Like many I resigned as I hate uncertainty and I prefer to dictate my own future.
Anyway, I find it interesting that one of the options to select as to why I am leaving is ‘Broadcom Acquisition’ (my other option was direct manager).
What’s the point of those ? I mean they claim VMware wants to use the feedback to improve blah blah but surely if they have 100s of people leaving because of Broadcom, literally nothing will change. So what’s the point.
HR knows it's immediate manager or management. Just giving you an option to check if the blame can be redirected so they can be off hook.
This is so VM management can say “everyone is leaving because of Broadcom” and it is out of their control.
Survey to make you feel like your voice counts as you walk out the door, which it does if your manager is the reason you’re leaving (theoretically). BC checkbox to have your survey deleted immediately if checked. ;-)
