Demographics of posters on this board

It's clear there are posters who are eager and excited about rumors of a layoff. I would say 90% of the posts are of that nature. So would employees who dread a layoff really be posting all this negativity. I doubt it. These fear mongers are probably... — read more

Side gigs

I see lots of posts on this site hating people with side gigs. It is very much legal in California as long as it does not interfere with your day job and you are not working for the competition. Last time I checked Q was not in the RE or RE related... — read more

Previous employee!!

I can't wait to see (via LinkedIn) if management in my previous department gets the boot! The job market isn't good right now. I will get some satisfaction from seeing them struggle, like the rest.

When will management show backbone?

When will the management get rid of slackers who are not motivated to work because of focus on passive income from rental properties or spending time advertising realtor business? Is the management itself motivated or are they slacker, too?

Don't fall to office politics and toxicity if you are laid off.

Don't mind those that talks about you or being happy you got laid off in the process. Keep your heads up, march on. Some may even have party with champagne to celebrate they survived, but don't let it get tk your head is most important.
