All that glitters isn’t gold

Hard lessons learnt:

You’re being hired only to be sla-ghtered in the next round.
If the manager doesn’t have a plan for your growth, gtfo.

Some teams don’t care about improving the quality of the product or the work.

If you’re a woman, forget about growth, they’ll probably make you do manual testing.

Nobody cares about you, they care about themselves. They’ll axe you to save their behinds. Be selfish in that case and don’t have a conscience.

There are better pastures out there where you can actually flourish so keep looking!
