Miles App

What is this? I am an a RSR. To start my day I enter my employee ID 4 times. One for teletime. One for handheld. One for People Net. One for Miless app. All which have different passwords. Should not it be easier to start a day of... — read more

Changes

I wonder how the reno team took the news. That depot was a hot mess. They didn't like the little birds on the nestle symbol and demanded it be changed. They let some dude go on stage and talk about how his truck fish tailed in the bad weather they... — read more

The Right Transition

I understand most of us need a paycheck and will need a job very soon after we are laid off. If you are getting another DSD role, I believe you’ll need an exit strategy in the near future. DSD is dying, online shopping and delivery is growing. Even... — read more

lay-offs

So tired of living under this cloud. At the moment looks like I’ll be 64 when my 60-day notice is official. I was in perfect health and could run a route better than most people half my age. Been doing it over 40+ years. Nestle and DG have s—ed... — read more

So, anyone else...?

So as I have come to understand over the past few years cuts during the summer are to be expected, but as of late I have found that ALL of my orders have either been sliced in half, mispriced, or fee cases here and there weren't even shipped to my... — read more

Unemployment benefits

Does anyone know if you are allowed to collect unemployment while receiving severance?

Checked My Stub...

With the new pay structure starting on July 15, I was told originally that our first paycheck following that pay period (Aug 2nd) would be reflected on the next check (the 16th) and that the necessary adjustments would be made to round you up if you... — read more

Just got my notice

My dsl called me today to meet him in the office. It was for my 60 day notice. I had to sign some paper work. I guess the count down begins.

External Job Opportunities Salaries

I've had a few interviews with other companies over the past month or so. It seems the average pay here in the Alabama/Louisiana area is $9,000-$10,000 less than what Nestle has been paying. That's a major drop for me. I'll be staying to the end to... — read more

A Sincere Thanks

It’s unfortunate to be on this side of the fence, but I suppose companies are moving away from the DSD model. Going to another company in a DSD role doesn’t make a lot of sense to me right now. Nevertheless, Nestle has been good to me. Helped get 2... — read more

Has anyone received there 60 days? And if so what state are you in?

Retention bonus is the ONLY reason I'm hanging on...

This place is a soul siphon, and I'll be happy to start a new chapter and leave this one behind. I often wonder if I would be better off just finding other work to track a steady flow of income with, rather than wait around like a jaded cop for his... — read more

Just wondering if anyone signed up for the emergency team. I chose the opt out but I believe it's going to start with longest tenure first. I personally don't see a reason to help out a company that decided to announce we are all done without a game... — read more

Who has districts that are short help

My district has the right amount of help still. We are doing well. I just want to hear how everyone is doing. Our team is great and we all still get alone. Yes the big lay-off s—s but we still have a very positive team.

Seen this coming years ago.

Right now it's a us vs them mentality. Everyone at my depot is not getting along. Alot of finger pointing and blaming going on. There has been at least 1 call in a day and we are short handed due to people being on leave for there kids being born. We... — read more

Just a (educated) guess

The early opt outs, who qualify, will get 60 day notice next week.(30%). The vast majority of people who bid for reroute will get 60 days 2 weeks later (50%). The rapid response and routes that couldn’t be deleted, 2 weeks after.(19%)

November 3 end date
