Unemployment benefits

Does anyone know if you are allowed to collect unemployment while receiving severance?

depending on what state you live in. I’m in california and I can collect severance. But it’s unclear how the retention bonus factors in.
You just have to apply and wait and see
if there’s a problem you’ll have to talk to someone and give them all the information
