It’s unfortunate to be on this side of the fence, but I suppose companies are moving away from the DSD model. Going to another company in a DSD role doesn’t make a lot of sense to me right now. Nevertheless, Nestle has been good to me. Helped get 2 kids through college, 2 houses bought and paid and helped me get my wife’s business off the ground. Many people complained about the work and the issues, but all companies have problems. Now many people are about to experience the problems other companies have for about 10k less a year. But either way, thank you to Nestle.

frontline employees don’t get safety bonuses and all the other perks that dsls and asls get.
80k a year to give silly safety meetings? Bloated infrastructure, I’m surprised it lasted this long. We
were hiring more managers when the layoff notice came in.....
Just because some clown worked off the clock by his own choice is not basis for a law suit. Good luck suing the largest food company in the world, im sure their lawyers looked over everything before they implemented it. But if it makes you feel empowered go for it, maybe if your lucky you can screw yourselves out if exit package
I agree on that 55k a year salary I paid for 3 homes 2 boats and a Maserati. It's all about money management. I'm in the process if buying a yacht. You guys are id–ts.
That 12 hours a day does have a big role is the over working of employees. Some people even work 16 and think it's worth the 55k a year. I ve been working here for 15 years and I don't see how someone could pay off 2 houses. The guy with the longest tenure here has about 25 years lives in a old people community. Dude has major financial problems with his wife. He doesn't want to go home after work and even does stuff off the clock. He will be the reason for our depots law suit. We already found a lawyer. I love all the comments defending nestle like you are still getting brownie points. Can't wait tell you guys have to work a real job and work a 8 to 5. Good luck a– clowns.
Oh brother! Thx for the life lesson, thank goodness you shared your wisdom! Just said nestle has a lot of overpriced people in the infrastructure, way more the pizza ever did. Nothing personal, just the way nestle rolls. But your feathers down , by the way my nest egg is fine, thx for the concern🤪
I am frontline employee and my wife and I were able to get our child through grad school, also we own our house and a decent boat. Money management and financial planning are powerful tools. Instead of spewing your negativity and bitterness, take that time/energy and put it towards overcoming this obstacle in front of us. If you are living paycheck to paycheck, that's not Nestle's fault.
Yea, u thought that too , you definitely are not frontline. What frontline person could afford to buy ( and pay off) 2 houses and put 2 kids through college? I guess we understand that nestle had alot more high paid positions to keep the failing dsd monster afloat than kraft ever did. Never seen so many analysts in one company.
@10tyizJf-tlw
You realize that more than just front line sales reps are impacted right?
There are plenty of us away from the front lines that have been impacted and have been working here for for a long time. Including DSLs who make more than 55k.
Food for thought.
To the OP, I am glad not everyone is so negative. Bless you, sir!
2 kids thru college, 2 homes and your wife's business startup on 55k a year??!!!! I'll leave that alone 🤣🤣
