The rumor is that work is being moved offshore to Hungary and Brazil.

I heard that 15% of the total headhunt will be cut. Not sure, just a rumor for now, but it sounds accurate and realistic to me.

I work in software tech sales and been given the slip, same messiah conveyed as everyone else

My wife just got RA'd after over 17 years of stellar service and immediately following a change in severance policy that dramatically reduced severance.

Manager said it was a resource allocation decision, not a performance issue. 90 days until termination, with 1 month severance pay.

I just got hit. Same as others are saying: last day is May 31, don't know if there is any pay beyond then. There are some internal jobs. There will be career counseling. I'll find out more tomorrow.
