Do not spin the Foundry off, just shutter it completely. That’s the only way for Intel to survive.
IntINTC keeps falling and hit a new 10 year low today
Heading to under $15 now.
What’s the incentive to tsmc for making intel arrowlake
Tsmc can make an excuse to delay/not making arrowlake for intel. They have control to mess up intel roadmap and revenue and even get rid of its future competitor, isn’t it?
BoD next week - will Pat be fired?
Upvote this post if you think Pat should be fired ASAP
Time for Pat to retire
Dear Pat, thanks for your service. It’s time to retire and enjoy the time with grandkids. Dear board of directors, please organize farewell and good buy party by the end of September.
Gossip
A coworker said they’re leaving with severance, but was not on the official CPM or retirement list. Think they are lying to look better about quitting Intel without anything. True? Or is there a way they could still get severance.
We haven’t hit rock bottom yet
Let that sink in.
If you invested $10,000 in INTC 10 years ago...
...that investment would be worth about $10,000 now. Probably less after today. INTC down another 3.5% as of this post. But 27 years ago, that $10,000 had a lot more buying power than today. Bob "the Black Swan" isn't looking so bad now, huh? I... — read more
This page has gone a little too negative
I read this page daily, sometimes it's so heart tearing to realize the team blue company I've proudly worked for 10 years are undergoing a decade low time. We must admit the flaws the company has but we should not deny the good times, the welfare... — read more

What do you think will actually happen to Intel?
I am on the fence whether I want to be among the lucky laid off or lucky who get to keep the job. Intel is too big and leadership sc--wed up too badly over the years for the deep dysfunction, a critical one, to be resolved by several rounds of... — read more

Lucky to be laid off
Looking back in the rear-view mirror LOL, I see how lucky I was to be laid off in 2015. Intel is a poisonous place, similar to brain worm that devours you from within. It's unbelievable how they treat the employees. I have had jobs in 4 other... — read more

Given the number of headcount reduction, I worried PG shut down our site for consolidation. Is this a valid concern?

PG or a Fisher Price tape recorder filled with bad ideas?
Another project Slip from intel
This time 20A. Missing a deadline has become normal. I’m wondering why Pat just a few months ago during one of conferences showed all 5 nodes wafers and took a selfie
No more free caffeine :(.
Why get rid of this? They could have canceled the boat trips. Unlimited caffeine was one of the reasons to come to campus. Drink coffee all day and come down around 4pm for a tall Mountain Dew to get you through the last hour.

It's always about layoffs

What were they smoking during 2021, 2022, 2023?
Three years went by. Id--ts on ELT just sat there blowing through Intel's cash, taking on new debt, happily ignoring AI, happily trusting the fat lady in TD on 18A. Now it turns out we have no future in AI, 18A has no hopes of yielding until 2026... — read more

Our CEO is like a dr-g addict now
Rock bottom can be whatever you want it to be, however deep you want to go But you will keep going deeper until you’re ready to change your behavior
