They really need to work on their messaging. The amount of incompetence from a communications perpective and lack of understanding of employee morale is incredible.
In the same breath he tells people they need to accept remote work because they are shutting down real estate while simuntaneously telling everyone else that they need to return to the office because thats the only way the business will be effective. At least spread the mixed messages out on the call.
And then the answers to the questions about improving culture in light of the setbacks? Threatening that other major businesses in the news this week have required a return to office? Smooth. Just so we can get let go in front of our other employees?
